Arrest made in Montgomery County hunting accident

The Montgomery County Sherriff's Department have made an arrest in a May
3rd hunting accident.
Police arrested 55-year-old Dale Fisher of Fort Plain after he shot a man
while hunting in the town of Minden.
Police say Fisher shot a turkey and also hit man sitting in a hedgerow in
the line of fire.
Fisher was charged with assault and numerous hunting violations. He was
arraigned in court and remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional
facility in lieu of $5,000 cash bail.
The victim was airlifted to Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown. So far there
is no update on his condition.
