Greenwood man charged with hunting violations
A Greenwood man was arrested by DNREC Enforcement agents for hunting from
a vehicle and a variety of other offenses. 53 year old Kirk Willey pleaded
guilty to the charges and was fined and released.
NEWS RELEASE: DNREC Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on April 26
arrested a Greenwood man on hunting-related violations.
Kirk Willey, age 54, of 14013 Blanchard Road, Greenwood, was arrested and
charged with hunting from a motor vehicle, carrying an unlawfully loaded
firearm in a vehicle, shooting from a roadway and possession of unlawfully
taken game (turkey).
Willey was taken to Justice of the Peace Court No. 3 in Georgetown, where
he pled guilty to all charges, was fined $545 and released.
Citizens are encouraged to report fish and wildlife violations to the
Delaware Fish and Wildlife Enforcement Section at 302-739-4580. between
March 21 and April 17.
