Man charged with driving, hunting while intoxicated
OLD FORGE - A Clinton County man was charged with driving while
intoxicated Friday after passersby reported a suspicious vehicle at the Twin
Ponds parking area in Webb, state police said.
William Schwartz, 58, of West Chazy, was found in possession of an open
alcoholic beverage and had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 percent, police
said.
Schwartz was charged by state police with driving while intoxicated and
consuming alcohol in a motor vehicle. He also was charged by state
Environmental Conservation police with hunting while intoxicated and hunting
in the closed area in the Town of Webb, police said.
He was ticketed and will return to Webb Town Court on Oct. 26.
