Two Kent County men arrested for hunting violations
Dover, Del. - DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement agents on
Oct. 27 arrested two Kent County men for hunting-related violations.
Alfred J. Alberts, 21, of Harrington, was arrested and charged with
spotlighting, hunting deer during a closed season, carrying an unlawfully
loaded firearm in a motor vehicle, failure to check deer and unlawfully
removing deer parts before checking deer. He also had an outstanding
warrant. Alberts pled guilty to all charges at Justice of the Peace Court
No. 1 in Frankford and was fined $1,090.
Arthur Bennett, 19, of Dover, was arrested and charged with spotlighting,
hunting deer during a closed season, carrying an unlawfully loaded firearm
in a motor vehicle, unlawfully removing deer parts before checking deer,
possession of unlawfully taken game, shooting near a roadway and failure to
attach deer tag. Bennett pled guilty to all charges at Justice of the Peace
Court No. 1 in Frankford and was fined $1,212.
