Man from Milo Faces Multiple Charges for Attempting to Shoot Deer
Police say a man from Milo, who jumped at the chance to shoot a deer
feeding in a field, faces multiple charges, including hunting in a game
preserve, hunting with a bogus license, and possession of a gun by a felon.
Old Town Police arrested 64-year-old Bernard Saunders Tuesday after they
say he stopped his vehicle, headed into a field and fired at a deer in the
preserve.
Police say it could've been worse because Saunders fired in the direction
of a jogging path.
