Man convicted of illegal hunting in ND
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - A St. John man has lost his hunting privileges
for a year after being convicted of illegally hunting ducks in Kellys Slough
National Wildlife Refuge west of Grand Forks.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that 20-year-old Kasey Abrahamson also was
ordered to pay $225 in fines and fees.
Twenty-one-year-old Cole Miller of Grand Forks also was charged and
received the same sentence. However, he was given a deferred imposition of
sentence, which means the charges will be cleared from his record if he has
no further violations in the next year.
