Marshall County Officers charge man with illegally hunting

GUNTERSVILLE, AL (WAFF) - A night of illegal hunting landed a Union Grove
man in the Marshall County jail.
Deputies arrested 22-year-old Jeremy Keith Stewart in the Parches Cove
area Tuesday night.
Deputy Daryl Wilson said he saw Stewart using his truck headlights to
spotlight deer.
The deputy approached Stewart after seeing him get out of his truck and
kill a deer.
Stewart was arrested after a short chase that ended in a crash.
He's charged with Illegal Night Hunting, Hunting by aid of Motor Vehicle,
Hunting from Public Road, Hunting without a Permit, DUI, Attempting to Elude
and Criminal Mischief.
Stewart is being held in the Marshall County Jail on $12,500 bond.
