MI: Hunter faces felonious assault charges

Man faces felonious assault charges after deer hunting incident

April 18, 2011

MONTCALM COUNTY, Mich.  Detectives with the Montcalm County Sheriff's Department say they have arrested at Montcalm Township man over felonious assault charges.

Officers say that the 46-year-old man fired a high powered rifle at a Greenville man on November 27, 2010 during deer season.

The man was not injured in the incident.

The man was arrested and lodged in the Montcalm County Jail without incident.
