JUNEAU, Alaska — Alaska Wildlife Troopers are looking into the
illegal killing of a mountain goat in the Juneau area.
KINY says troopers were notified this week that part of a goat cape
and hoofs were found near the southern section of Bullard Mountain.
Goat hunting is not allowed at all in the place where the remains
were found. The legal goat hunting season in other parts of the area
occurs in the fall.
