A former Greene County surveyor along with two other men will be
issued a summons to appear in court in connection with an alleged
illegal Whitetail deer operation that was discovered during in an
undercover sting that started in 2008.
Donald F. Wile, Jr., Route 3, Linton, Gregory D. Wile, Route 3,
Linton and Kenton Medlock, Linton, have been named in probable cause
affidavits filed in Greene Superior Court last Friday by J. Kim
Wolsiefer, a detective with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources
Law Enforcement Division.

The actual charges filed, according to the informations filed in each
case in Greene Superior Court, include: Don Wile -- Count No. 1 --
Failure to deliver deer to checking station, Count No. 2 -- Removal of
deer head prior to checking in; Greg Wile -- Count No. 1 -- Failure to
register as a deer processor, Count No. 2 -- Illegal sale of wildlife,
Count No. 3 -- Failure to provide deer checking station with accurate
information; Kenton Medlock -- Count No. 1 -- Removal of a deer head
prior to checking in, Count No. 2 -- Illegal possession of a deer. All
of the charges are class C misdemeanors.
