September 24, 2011

From GettysburgTimes.com

The bucks are out of velvet. That means poaching will be stepping into high gear. Received a few recent reports in Adams County.

Pa. Game Commission Wildlife Conservation Officer Darren David reports that Daniel W. Watkins, 54 of Abbottstown, pled guilty to charges of taking or possessing big game out of season and making false or fraudulent statements, stemming from an incident on March 22 in which a male wild turkey was killed in Hamilton Township. Fines and costs total over $1,200.
