13 charged with hunting violations in western NY
Associated Press
WARSAW, N.Y. — The opening weekend of gun season for deer hunting
kept state police and environmental conservation officers busy in
western New York.
State police say troopers and enforcement officers from the
Department of Environmental Conservation charged one woman and 12 men in
Wyoming County with various violations of New York's hunting laws. All
were issued tickets and ordered to appear in local town courts.
Troopers say the charges included failure to tag a deer and having a
loaded firearm in a vehicle.
