Agents with the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife Enforcement
issued 15 citations between Jan. 11 and Jan. 18, according to a press
release.
Here are the citations by type:
Wildlife Conservation violations- one citation for hunting waterfowl
with prohibited lead shot at the Ted Harvey Wildlife Area near Dover;
one citation for operating motor vehicle off-road on a state wildlife
area and another for operating an unlicensed motor vehicle on a state
wildlife area at the C&D Canal Wildlife Area near St. Georges; two
citations for trespassing to hunt and one citation for hunting without a
license in Millsboro; one citation for trespassing to trap near Odessa;
two citations for hunting with an unplugged shotgun in separate
incidents at Redden State Forest near Georgetown and Lewes; and two
citations for illegal hunting on a refuge near Cooch’s Bridge in Newark.
Fisheries conservation and recreational violation: One citation for
unlicensed fishing at the C&D Canal Wildlife Area near St. Georges.
Public safety violation: Two citations for failing to display hunter
orange during a firearms season near Cooch’s Bridge in Newark.
Other: One citation for littering at the C&D Canal Wildlife Area,
near St. Georges.
