CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP)
Police were called to a
neighborhood after someone called 911 saying a man was firing a
rifle toward an overpass.
21-year-old Phillip Joseph Popoff
was charged with firing a spring gun.
Forty-seven-year-old Bryan Allen Matzke is charged with
trespassing. A police report says Popoff told officers they
were shooting at birds at the overpass with the Daisy BB gun they
had purchased from a pawn shop earlier Tuesday.
