Four men found with a loaded 12-gauge shotgun and two spotlights
in a truck on Sawmill Creek Drive in Bluffton just before 11 p.m.
Saturday were arrested for hunting on a public road, a violation of
South Carolina wildlife laws, according to the S.C. Department of
Natural Resources.
DNR officers found the evidence that
suggested the men were hunting on public property without the
required authorization, said Sgt. Michael Paul Thomas. The men
admitted they were out hunting for deer, Thomas said.
