Four men dragging two deer out of the woods were surprised
earlier this month when they were met by a state Fish and Wildlife
Conservation Commission officer and arrested.
The four and
two others were charged with about 30 hunting violations of taking
deer illegally.
Arrested were Trenton Lee Forester Stokes,
18, Joseph Bruce Johnson. 41, Dustin Rhoden, 26, Brian Harris, 21,
and a 17-year-old juvenile, all from Baxter, and David Henry Jones,
51, of Callahan.
