WINCHESTER - Austin M. Spain, who last month admittedly shot what
a state conservation officer and a Boone and Crockett Club official
call "the deer of a lifetime,” has been formally charged in Randolph
County with unlawful taking of a deer, a class B misdemeanor.
A class B misdemeanor conviction carries a maximum penalty of 180
days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.
