AK: Longmont Man Gets Fine, 1-Year Hunting Ban In Case

JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) – A Colorado man has been fined $10,000 and
banned from hunting for a year for transporting an unlawfully taken
Dall sheep. The U.S. attorney’s office says Thomas McGann of
Longmont pleaded guilty Friday. His sentence requires he forfeit the
sheep. Prosecutors say McGann admitted to shooting an
undersized sheep in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in 2008.
