MN: DNR Enforcement Report

CO Karl Hadrits (Crosby) responded to complaints of deer baiting, trapping beaver before season, suspected waterfowl violations, and garbage dumping.
Numerous other issues associated with the upcoming firearms deer season were tended to.
WREO Rob Haberman conducted a site visit on violation in Aitkin County.
CO Greg Verkuilen (Garrison) answered a call regarding angling violations resulting in multiple citations.
CO Chris Tetrault (Isle) monitored trapping complaints.  Deer shining complaints were addressed as well; law enforcement action was taken against a person shining illegally. Assistance was given to Aitkin County SO.
CO Scott Fitzgerald (Malmo) worked on several big game violation calls during the week. He fielded calls of trespassing, illegally shot deer, illegal shining, trapping violations and also multiple calls regarding law related questions. A TIP complaint of a party taking illegal fish and using illegal methods on Mille Lacs Lake was investigated.  Enforcement action for the week included various big game violations.
