IN: Four men arrested for hunting in preserve

Za Hmun, 29, Peter Linn, 25, Tawk Hmung, 31, and Tei Ling, 30, were arrested on a charge of unlawful taking of deer. Ling was also arrested on a charge of hunting from a roadway. Unlawful taking of deer is a Class C misdemeanor, punishable with a fine of up to $500 and up to 60 days in jail.

The four men shot two deer in the Atterbury Fish and Wildlife Area near Edinburgh, Indiana. Deer hunting season ended Jan. 1, according to the Department of Natural Resources.

Hmun, Hmung, Linn, and Ling, were taken to the Johnson County jail. Hmun and Hmung were held on $1,000 bond. Ling was released on $500 bond. Linn was released on $250 bond.
