Of all the kitties who found their way to me, Michael O’Toole’s story comes first to my mind. A kind woman asked me to foster him temporarily because he was on his way to be euthanized.

Mikey was a diamond in the rough and it would take some time to polish him up! Most shelters wouldn’t or couldn’t give him the time he needed. Now Mikey is a beautiful yellow tabby, but then he was dirty and emaciated. His odor was nauseating because he had infected sores all over his body. He looked at me with such adoration and gratitude. How could I refuse to help? He was so patient with his treatments and medicine, he would climb on my shoulder to receive them. It took several months before he recovered from his hard life as a stray. Now Michael O’Toole is an artist model. He is adored and treasured by his new family. They even have a special song for him! Thank you Mikey for showing me your beauty within. I will always love you.
