A COMPASSIONATE INTERNET CHRISTIAN CHURCH MINISTRY
The Animal Healing Project is an ecumenical Christian organization which engages people of faith in service to God's creatures. TAHP advocates nationwide for greater inclusion and recognition of animals in religious life, providing intercessory and healing prayer to animals, veterinary hospice advocacy, grief/loss support and education about the ethical and social justice implications of a plant-based diet.
We serve the greater Boston, Metrowest and Central Massachusetts areas. Future plans include training prayer teams to respond to requests for laying-on-of-hands (healing prayer) as well as intercessory (distant prayer) for companion and farm animals who are ill or injured, at home or hospitalized; healing liturgy services each month; periodic memorial liturgy services; two grief support groups (one traditional, one for those affected by the housing/foreclosure crisis); and possible mission trips. We're new as of summer 2008 so we're a work in progress and are evolving.
We invite inquiries from those interested in participating or those having any need.
