December 21, 2012: the World Won’t End!

Never the less, the time is come to build True Sanctuaries and to be a True Sanctuary!  As far as December 21st is concerned, this frightening prediction cannot and will not happen.  Whether you are a Christian, Agnostic, or Stoned Heathen, get a Bible and read it.  Today, many professing Christ Followers, have never read one, and haven’t a clue about the answers, and reasons for those answers that the Bible holds.  In Life or University you can’t fairly pass a course if you never crack the book!

The time is short and may, at times appear to look like the end of the world; still, the original Bible text is clear it is the end of the age.  The One, who made the world and saved the world, intends to go forward with His “Original Intention.” Yes, He will return us to a vegetarian way of eating (if we heed Him). As He asked Noah to save every species, He is asking us to do the same! Christ’s coming will be as in the days of Noah. We who have listened to God for a good while have seen Him fulfill His prophecies and promises yesterday, last week, last month, last year and last millennium!  Now we can see He is fulfilling many more of His prophecies which will either benefit us or His coming Kingdom greatly or eliminate us from participating in all God has prepared for those who love Him. (1Corinthians 2:9) He promises to do a quick work and cut it short in righteousness.  (Romans 9:28) If He did not, no life whether that was your cat or dog, the birds at your feeder, the shore birds on the coasts, the whales in your water, or the herds of caribou would survive. Neither would any human life!  (Matthew 24:22) If this isn’t powerful enough stuff to rock your world, when it comes to an environment near you, it will….big time!

I and many other ministers must get a lot of info out to people quickly, because there is no time left for playing and not paying attention.  Humanity has committed one heinous crime which is the way we treat animals.  The most hideous treatment is how we ignore and disobey our Creator, the Creator of all things.  Mankind was not created to live by bread alone, but every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4)

In the world where I live, people need food and cannot find the proper nourishment they can afford! We must persuade markets to hold down their profiteering, and we must personally help the poor where we can or starvation will be the norm. All churches should have food for their own in the event of an emergency, and a team of first responders for their own.  They should consider such things as fire and water rescue, emergency towing and ambulance service as money permits. I don’t honor anyone’s objection that this is spreading socialism or communism, because God says we will be happy and blessed if we remember the poor and if we lend to them, the Lord will repay us!  He says it is just like we lent to the Creator! (Proverbs 19:17)

God says a righteous person regards the life of his beasts. (Proverbs 12:10)  Where I live a lot of poaching goes on! The 200 deer and the same amount of turkeys we fed every winter declined to what you could count on one hand!  If times get just a little worse, wildlife will be reduced to zero and even more domestic animals will suffer because donuts, beer, or entertainment was more important to modern man.  Folks, this is the end of the age.  It is time to develop some True Sanctuaries and to guard and protect them and their Creatures.  Here, where I live, people will shoot dinner before they will spend their cash!  I heard a well known minister say yesterday that he heard of a company selling guns at a big gun show and sold as many in one day as they normally sell in five months.  The majority of buyers were non-Christians who felt they needed the guns for protection from people who would soon be forced into robbery to survive the times.

Two of the worst things I hear from modern ministers is that animals don’t have a soul (which is totally contradictory to the Bible and nature), and the lie that God doesn’t speak to people very often. I hear more and more ministry teaching the truth: that God speaks to us much more than we listen to or give heed to.  God speaks to me increasingly as I increase my time in His Word and my time in His presence. You get tired of telling a child over and over to clean their room or to finish their schoolwork when they are paying little or no attention to what you’re saying. God is that way; He uses more persuasive means to tell us to stop playing in the freeway. If we withstand Him to the end, we don’t win, we lose!

If you get in the Word of God, invite Him into your life, and heed what He says in the New Testament and by His Spirit.  You will hear His voice. Jesus said, “I told you and you believed not: the works that I do in my Father’s name, they bear witness of me. But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. I and my Father are one.” (John 10:25-30

My hope for you is that you will hear God’s voice and follow it. He came that you might have Life and have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) I hope that you hear it more and more and more and that He will become your Shepherd and you will become His sheep. Remember, for some of us, Christmas reminds us that Jesus became the Lamb of God before we became sheep. God wants to care for all your needs whether that might be to see you kept alive and satisfied, healthy and completing a great journey through life or having your sins forgiven. As far as the animals are concerned, He hopes that you will respond as Noah did. Lord willing and I live, I intend to post an article on True Sanctuary in depth between now and New Year’s.

My final thoughts are that I pay attention when most of God’s leaders on earth all speak the same thing and I am hearing through those channels that as early as January we may see tremendous changes on the planet. If you knew what those changes are, you might do as Noah did, and move “with fear” to prepare an ark. Of course, we don’t mean a literal boat in the sea. Read your Bible and get ready by heeding His voice and forget that end of the world stuff!
