Look What They’re Doing to Your Inheritance
Some politicians are suggesting we run our country free of strict rules and laws, regulating the environmental impact caused by business and industry! If you know your bible then you should be aware that just part of Genesis 2:15 “abad and shamar,” informs us that humanity was created in part to guard and protect the earth. Again, if you care that Holy Scripture is the word of God you are also aware that the 24 elders seated before God in Heaven have declared that God should destroy them that destroy the earth. (Revelation 11:16-18)
Why should you care? If you love God, have received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and are led by the Holy Spirit, you surely must have prayed about what this means when so many pastors are preaching that there is going to be a reversal of wealth. Some teachers use the term “transfer of wealth.” This comes from numerous places in the scripture and the one I am most familiar with is Proverbs 13:22b which says, “The wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.”
The problem with this preaching is that most leaders do not have a clue as to what this wealth is but as usual God’s word spells things out exactly and our inheritance is spelled out in Daniel 7:18 and Psalms 37:11. Daniel 7:18 says, “But the saints of the most High shall take the kingdom and possess the kingdom for ever, even for ever and ever.” Psalms 37:11 says, “But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” The kingdom comes with the earth and the earth God intends for us to inherit comes with the kingdom. That is why we pray, “Thy kingdom come and thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.”
Call me “Utopian” if you wish but then you will also have to call me biblical. It was God’s idea to bring heaven to earth. Our stewardship and guardianship of the planet is not only for all the endangered botany containing everything from rare orchids to vanishing rain forests but also all of the animal life and everything from Japan’s amazing snow monkeys to the few remaining Koala Bears which have not yet made it to heaven nor found heaven in their part of the earth.
1John 4:16b tells us, “God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God and God in him.” When God saw we were ready to be rescued from our fall into deception and dismay He so loved us that He prepared to send His only biological son into manifestation to fully restore us. John Ford Coley beautifully brings us a reminder of the absolute power of love in his unforgettable song, “Love is the Answer.” And it absolutely is the answer! Animals, even wild ones, believe it or not, react amazingly to love. Our love directed towards them helps them come back into God’s love and a deeper union and communion with their faithful creator, just as He is ours.
Animals haven’t fully experienced God’s love in this earthly realm since the Adams’ family was driven out of the garden and their lives worsened a great deal when Nimrod and his fellow hunters created that influential city called Confusion or Babel! Nimrod not only killed far more than he needed for food (just one chapter after God gave Noah permission to eat meat) but Nimrod used killing in excess as a business to build a city and house his “bush-beaters.”
Today anyone who kills animals or intentionally harms an animal makes it impossible for that person to fully grasp or enter the Kingdom of God until they repent. Those who are absorbed with God’s Kingdom do no harm or hurt but rather “walk in love…” (Ephesians 5:2a) Unfortunately many of the Jews believed Messiah was coming, they just didn’t believe that Jesus was the man! Likewise, many Christians do believe that when Jesus returns we may end war and poverty, restore the earth and see the lion lie down with the lamb, but they ignore the reality that God says, “Behold even now I do a new thing and it already springs forth and why don’t you know it?” (Isaiah 43:19) And they dismiss the fact that the greatest coming of Christ is when He suddenly comes to His temple and we are that temple. Christ in us is the hope of the manifestation that all creation is eagerly and anxiously waiting to benefit from.
We cannot manifest nor do anything else of ourselves, but through Christ we can do all things and Paul discovered the balance: He said, “I cooperated mightily with God who worked mightily in me.” (Colossians 1:29) God wants you to walk in love and to be harmless and blameless. There was a time when God winked at our ignorance but now He commands all people everywhere to repent, to turn from their own way and go fully His way. The days are coming and now are, when, “He that kills an ox (a bull, steer, or even a cow) is as if he murdered a man; he that sacrifices a lamb is as if he cut off a dog’s neck…and their soul delights in their abominations.” (Isaiah 66:3)
While we are speaking of lambs, God expects us to cry out for His creation so that all lands will nurture and preserve all species supported by that eco-niche. The land we inherit is to be a land flourishing with God’s creation where no timber man falls the trees and the trees all clap their hands. (Isaiah 14:6-8) We have been forewarned by Jesus Christ Himself. “Behold I send you forth as sheep amongst wolves in sheep’s clothing.” A wolf in sheep’s clothing is hard to detect until he has his fangs in your jugular. Any politician who says business should be unhindered and unrestricted by environmental and endangered species laws and regulations is definitely out for blood or sap and he or she takes you to be one (a sap that is), or at best a very dumb sheep.
I don’t have a political position except that I am on the side of life. The Bible says of Jesus Christ, in Him was Life and the Life was the Light of the world. Do you want to inherit a toxic waste site? What about a land restricted to growing only genetically modified crops and organisms or what about a part of the earth for you to rule over where hunting, by law, can never be prohibited? That is where many legislators are trying to take your inheritance. Wolves can be transformed by love. Wolves can be protected and isolated by alertness and avoidance by intended prey. What you have to watch out for are phony sheep that are really wolves out for anything they can rob, kill or destroy. If the land you hope to inherit is not protected land it supports a killing machine and who should God hold responsible?
The disciplined, the disciples who say they know God ought to walk also as He walked. If you are fortunate enough to have land, do all in your power to guard and protect your inheritance. Don’t forget Jesus went into the wilderness with the wild creatures and the angels ministered unto Him. Jesus is not coming back until all things are restored! Read the final third of Acts Chapter 3.
Some politicians want to make this a better world or a better America by limiting what protections can be placed upon the planet and its creatures and those who have such intentions in their own way are destroying the earth which is your inheritance if you are holy which means you are “one set apart unto God!” The true riches are all spiritual blessings in heavenly places which might still be lying dormant in us or not yet fully manifested or developed by reason of exercise…and the Earth itself!
