Something to Die For: Something to Live For!
Once I heard something that made sense to me. It went something like, “Never die on a mountain that isn’t high enough to live for. I found my hill and I found God’s Will!”
There are countless billions of animals slaughtered around the world every year. Some of them are killed in cock fights and bull fights. Some of them are killed on our highways. Some are killed on farms and in animal shelters. Some are killed for fun. Some are killed for bush meat to supply the loggers in places like Africa. Some die so people can have pretty lawns. Some are killed to hang on walls. Some are killed in the United States’ National Wildlife refuges. I know you thought a refuge was a place of safety but US Wildlife Refuges are much more a place where speed boats disrupt the nesting of snowy egrets and wood ducks. They are a place where shotguns blast geese species that mate for life out of the sky and men high-five one another. It is time to find out what the True Sanctuary movement is all about. It is time to increase your support of no-kill shelters and cut your support of those that use a percentage of their donated pets for fat rendering and pet food. It is time to drive less and when you see the mess, move it off the highway.
I recently saw a film featuring Dr.Vishal Mangalwadi who wanted us to eradicate Satan, “The Green Dragon” or environmentalists teaching within the Christian faith. The show was called, “Logos vs. Mysticism Environmentalism’s Flight from Reason.” I generally have a habit of not attacking anyone but liars disturb me greatly. The general premise was that environmentalism is non-biblical and contradicts the logos of the word. Environmentalism is called a spiritual deception because it “elevates nature above the needs of people.” I don’t want to get ahead of myself but if the entire world was turned into the Garden of Eden, think how much excess food there would be for people and animals of every sort. By that I do not mean the world of wilderness and solitude and God’s presence. Psalms 132:6 says, “Lo, we heard of it at Ephratah: we found it in the fields of the wood.” The “it” they are referring to is a habitation for the mighty God of Jacob that is Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and the field of the woods literally means the “honey trees” and the honey trees literally means the ancient old growth forests: the hollow giants.
King David said, “I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids. Until I find out a place for the Lord, a habitation for the mighty God of Jacob.” (Psalms 132:4) The speaker said that the introduction of environmentalism into Christianity was a “spiritual deception that came from the green dragon and something we needed to watch out for.” You can see David’s priorities in Psalms 132:4-5. What man do we have today who will not give sleep to his eyes until he finds a habitation, a mishkan for the God of Jacob. Habitation in Hebrew is Mishkan and it means a dwelling place and a tabernacle with wooden walls. Logos refers to the written Word of God and it means a foundation, a plea, an opinion, an expectation. Expectation reminds me of Romans 8:19-21 where it says the creatures, indeed all creation, eagerly and enthusiastically awaits the manifestation of the sons of God for the creatures shall be set free from futility and death into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
The logos is the written word and I would agree with Mr. Mangalwadi that the logos is of primary importance. The rhema can also be the Word of God but it is a spoken word and if the spoken word does not agree with the logos we need to find its source or become informed that the rhema was not an utterance from the Creator. As to “dominion” which Mr. Mangalwadi emphasized, the dominion God gave us was to people before the fall of Adam and Eve. So we must say that dominion was given to people in the image of God. People filled with integrity, Divine inspiration, passion and love. If you know a group of these people please give them my phone number!
It is not too much to say that if we be in the image of God through restoration of the soul and transformation of the mind, it is a small thing that we plant a garden like unto Eden because God who is Spirit planted the first garden we read about in the Logos. Let me describe that Garden. It contained every tree yielding fruit whose seed was in itself and was pleasant to the sight. I spent all my younger days as a landscaper and I can say that this variety of trees would take hundreds of thousands of acres of land! Between these trees were various herbs and between them were various climatic zones. “And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden.” (Genesis 2:8) And mankind was created to care for the garden and the creatures.
Entities like The Interior Department, the hunting lobby and the National Wildlife Refuges haven’t done a very humane job of managing all the things that were made for God’s pleasure which we call “our natural resources.” (Revelation 4:11) Daniel makes it very clear that they are not our natural resources. (Daniel 2:35) I guess by now you have figured out that I am a Kingdom person and what mountain I rest upon. As a Kingdom person it is important that we integrate into the Kingdom, the Plant Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom. If we exclude the Plant Kingdom then why will “all the trees clap their hands?” (Isaiah 55:12) And if we do not help the Animal Kingdom why was “Jesus with the wild creatures and the angels ministered unto Him?” (Mark 1:13) It seems to me this was a spiritual experience but enough of this which could be called speculation. In Ephesians 1:10, God told Paul to tell the Ephesians, “That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; even in him.” God did not say he would gather together a few things or some things but He said all things into one as I mentioned in my article, “This is What Shall Be.”
Let’s get to the fact of the logos: there are animals on the throne and that Christ sees out of the throne with what we would call a “green colored rainbow” and the reality of these creatures can be discovered in Revelation 4:6. The word beast used in this scripture means an animal. They are there on the throne and they see before and behind what was, and what is coming. The human God-man who sat on the throne was like unto a jasper stone looking through “green colored glasses.” Picture jasper naturally made scenes on it like mountains, rivers of running water, forests and fields. His name is Jesus Christ and He is concerned about more than just you. As I said there was a rainbow round about the throne which covered Him and it was green like an emerald. (Revelation 4:3) This goes back to the covenant that God made not only with human beings but with every creature. (See Genesis 9:9-10)
If you know of another hill worth dying on to let people know that the Bible teaches that animals do have souls, that they do have a hope, that they will enter in to the liberty of the people of God and they are waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God, show it to them. If you know, like I do, that this hill is worth dying for, help get the logos out there via all forms of media including television. Stop sitting on your tailbone while elephants long for their herds, while cattle are skinned alive, while cats are abused and killed, while puppies are tossed into creeks with bags of rock, while ganders pine for their mates, while bucks have their brains blown out and others run off to die after a long period of suffering. I beg you to join with us in getting the message, the logos, out into the earth. This is no additive to the gospel; this is a major feature of it.
God put it into my heart to start a TV station that will accomplish the task. Whether I succeed or not depends on you. Whether or not the animals succeed depends on the real offspring of God to come forward. If nothing else happens I will die soon and my book, “What Shall Be,” shall be discovered and someone else will start the TV station that builds a wall through the logos for all animals and for the environment itself. And I will rest awaiting the day that will surely come, for I have found the mountain that I must live and die on. Romans 9:28 says of his plans: “For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.”
If you are interested in helping to build this station, provide tax free funding for its activities or wish to work in it, please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. It is primarily because the majority of our killing is done in secret that the west recognizes so little of God’s word regarding animals that we have turned a frightened cow into a filet mignon and a truckload of chickens onto a conveyor belt wondering what happened to their heads. If you won’t present the public with this, the Christian world and the world as a whole will be the same one hundred years from now. You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world! (Matthew 5:13-14)
