Vegetables in the solution to African hunger
Native vegetables to Africa could help in solving Africa’s food
crises as well as boosting its rural economies according to a new report
from the National Research Council. This report examines 18 African
vegetables, typically overlooked by scientists and policymakers, that
could potentially help feed the continent's growing population and
increase sustainable development.

We are blessed with a wide variety of plant-based foods, much like in
the Garden of Eden. Sometimes the answers to global problems do not
solely rest on new technologies or scientific advancements. Maybe is we
trusted more in God’s providence we would realize that good stewardship
of all of God’s creation could solve these world crises.
