DNA Testing Favors Humans Eating Starches 

New DNA testing seems to support the theory that humans are basically starch-eaters. The study George H. Perry published in the October 2007 issue of Nature Genetics found that there are more copies of genes that produce starch-digesting enzymes, known as amylases, in the human saliva than there are in lesser primates. Knowledge of what would constitute the ideal diet for humans could result in the prevention and cure of many diseases (diabetes, atherosclerosis, cancers, etc.)

A diet based on plant foods seems to be the optimal one for most human beings and is also God's ideal for Creation, where all creatures live peacefully and harmoniously.
