Another Meat Recall
Once again, a meat recall has US citizens worry about beef contamination. American Foods Group voluntarily recalled nearly 96,000 pounds of ground beef products after two people were sickened, possibly by the E. coli bacteria. E. coli O157:H7 is a potentially deadly bacterium that can cause bloody diarrhea and dehydration.

Factory farming, the mass production of animals raised for food, is causing great misery to God’s animals, to our health and to the environment. As followers of Christ, we should take a stand for God’s Creation and choose a diet that reflects Jesus’ teachings of compassion, mercy and peace.
