Swine Flu and Factory Farms
Dr. Michael Greger, director of Public Health and Animal Agriculture in the farm animal welfare division of The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), focuses his work on the human health implications of intensive animal agriculture, and in this article explains why factory farming is the perfect recipe to breed diseases. The swine flu virus, causing alarm worldwide, is a great example of the devastating consequences of raising animals for food in massive concentrations and crowed spaces.

The way we treat farmed animals does not honor God in any way. Causing misery to God's animals causes misery to us as well. When we abuse the power we have over Creation we are miserably failing as stewards of God's Creation.
