California Bill Could Help Hens from Out-of-state
If a bill moving through the Legislature becomes law, California's
upcoming ban on small cages for egg-laying hens could possibly be
extended to out-of-state egg producers. This bill has already received
support from legislators who opposed Prop. 2 since they say it will help
California's egg industry compete with out-of-state egg producers who,
under current law, will not need to comply with Prop. 2 when its rules
take effect in 2015.

Maybe more good will come from the passing of Proposition 2 in
California. Every step towards a more compassionate and sustainable
world, no matter how small, honors and glorifies God.
