Raising Vegetarian Kids

Many people realize that vegetarian diets are healthier than meat-based diets; however, they believe that raising children on a vegetarian diet is too hard to accomplish. This article points out that well-balanced plant-based diets are appropriate for kids of all ages, from infancy to teenage years. Just the knowledge of what a growing body needs and where to find the nutrients in plant-based foods can make the experience very enjoyable for children and parents.

Encouraging children’s innate sense of compassion and justice is essential to make this world a better place for the generations to come. One way is to raise them vegetarian so they learn that there is no need to harm God’s farmed animals in order to grow strong and be healthy.
