Animal cruelty in slaughterhouses throughout the world has been very well documented. The number of animals killed every day and the speed at what this is done makes it very unlikely that God’s farmed animals don’t encounter pain and terror. The most effective way to ensure these animals are treated with compassion is not to support the dairy, meat or egg industries, and instead transition to a plant-based diet.
