More Benefits of a Plant Based Diet

Numerous studies have shown that reducing cholesterol helps reduce the risk of heart attacks and strokes. Moreover, a major study by Kaiser Permanente and the University of Kuopio (Finland) also concluded in August 2009 that high cholesterol is associated with Alzheimer's Disease. Taking into account the many advantages to keeping our cholesterol in a healthy range, it makes sense to try to do what we can to reach this goal. One of the most important things we could do is to eat healthy foods and this article lists the 10 top healthier foods including soy, fruits and veggies, and grains and seeds. It also mentions the importance of avoiding animal products which are loaded with cholesterol.

The rate of most chronic diseases can be lowered dramatically by following a well-balanced plant-based diet. Taking care of our bodies is good stewardship of what God has made.
