Christian Vegetarian Association Presents:
Take Heart!
Giving Farmed Animals a Voice

A fantastic new campaign led by Mercy for Animals (MFA) http://www.mercyforanimals.org/ is challenging hundreds of thousands of daily commuters and visitors traveling in and around the Chicago area to look at their food differently. This new pro-vegetarian campaign involves advertisement in strategic places such as subways, trains, buses, etc. The ads, for example, show an adorable puppy and a lovable piglet sitting side-by-side and ask, "Why love one but eat the other?" and also, "How much cruelty can you swallow?" by featuring a heartbreaking image of a mother pig locked in a tiny gestation crate. MFA is doing such a great job at challenging the mindset that some animals are pets and some food. By raising awareness on such an erroneous ethical belief and by exposing the unimaginable suffering God’s farmed animals endure, people are forced to evaluate their values and beliefs and hopefully align their choice of diet with them.
