Gestation crates deprive sows from virtually any movement from months
on end, so the end if this cruel practice should alleviate much of their
suffering. Still, we should strive to end the cruel and unnecessary
practice of raising animals for food and by not purchasing animal
products we send a clear message to these companies, that we do not
approve the unnecessary exploitation of God's farmed animals.
