Susan Levin, M.S., R.D., director of nutrition education at the
Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM), explains that
even though abundant scientific evidence indicates that a plant-based
diet is the healthiest diet for children, still many physicians and
"experts" discourage parents from not feeding meat, dairy and eggs to
their kids. As Levin points out, plant-based diets help prevent most
chronic diseases that plague our society.

Of course a diet that shows compassion to God's animals and helps
us celebrate life joyfully and healthfully should be the one we all
adopt. After all, our loving Creator has blessed us with such a
variety of tasty plant-based foods that really most of us have no need
of animal products to survive.
