"Beyond Meat" is a new company based in Maryland and whose founder,
Ethan Brown, claims to have developed an alternative to chicken meat
that tastes similar to the real thing. Additionally, this meat
alternative is supposed to be cheaper than those already on the
market. Next month, consumers will place their verdict: The Whole
Foods Market chain plans to start selling prepared food using “Beyond
Meat” chicken in Northern California in June.

Although our Creator has blessed us with an amazing abundance and
variety of delicious, healthy plant-based foods, I think it’s
important that meat analogs are available to help people make the
transition more easily to a plant-based diet. Moreover, meat analogs
also help people reduce their meat-intake even if they don’t fully
adopt a plant-based diet.
