Nuts: Important Foods in Plant-Based Diets

This excellent article explains why, although high in calories, nuts are nutritionally healthful foods that are an important part in plant-based diets. Nuts are great source of protein, fats, antioxidants and many micronutrients. Their many benefits include hunger control and reduction of chronic diseases such as diabetes and heart-disease, aside from their incredible nutritional value.
