Yet, another study on the effects of food on mood and mental disorders indicates that consuming more plant-based foods is good for our emotional and psychological well-being. Although diet has not been a major focus by psychologists and psychiatrists, the growing evidence that what we eat does not only affect our physical health, but also our psyches, can no longer be ignored.

It seems natural that what we eat affects our well-being in every aspect. After all, food becomes part of our cells… food becomes us. Eating God’s animals is, in essence, eating fear, pain and suffering. On the other hand, eating plant-based foods infuses our bodies and souls with love, compassion, empathy and joy.
