Christian Vegetarian Association Presents:
Take Heart!
Veganism and Spiritual Leadership

Many of us have wondered why more spiritual leaders are or were not vegan since we feel that a vegan lifestyle is consistent with spiritual growth. Will Tuttle, author of the acclaimed book “The World Peace Diet”, explains that our social and cultural programming, which conditions us to view farm animals as a food source since birth, is very powerful.

However, by questioning this programming is that we are able to set ourselves free and reconnect with our inner-source of wisdom and compassion.

Will Tuttle rightly states, "If existing traditions are unwilling or unable to embrace and promote the vital spiritual teaching that veganism offers everyone, of all persuasions, then we’ll create new spiritual movements and traditions that do, and we see this happening as well."
