Just like previous studies on the apparent link between dairy and
prostate cancer, a new study published in the Journal of Nutrition
concludes that dairy products can increase the risk of prostate
cancer. This study comprised 21,660 participants in the Physicians
Heath Study for 28 years and the results show that those who
consumed more than 2.5 servings of dairy products per day were at a
12 percent increased risk of prostate cancer, compared with those
who consumed less than half a serving (one serving equals an 8-ounce
glass of milk or 2 ounces of cheese).

Cows produce milk for their babies. This milk is perfect for a
growing calf who has specific enzymes in his digestive system to
digest this high-protein food loaded with casein, a protein humans
cannot digest properly. Added to this fact, dairy products today may
be laden with antibiotics, hormones, pesticides and other toxic
substances that certainly are not good for us. Sometimes the obvious
needs to be brought to light again: milk is species-specific. Humans
are the only species on Earth who drink milk from another species
and who drink milk past infancy. Fortunately, our loving Creator has
blessed us with an amazing array of plant-based food that easily
helps us substitute dairy in our diets: soy milk, almond milk,
coconut milk, rice milk, hemp milk and hazelnut milk are some. Give
them a try and your body will thank you!
