Another Pro-Athlete Goes VEGAN

Orlando Magic forward Glen Davis has adopted a plant-based diet!  After fracturing a bone in his left foot five weeks ago, Davis is sticking to a vegan diet as he tries to lose weight and lessen the strain on his joints.

A plant-based diet does a body good! If well-balanced, it helps maintain a healthy weight and reduce one’s risk of many chronic conditions including osteoporosis (weakening of the bones).
 
It’s great to learn that more professional athletes are getting educated on the benefits of plant-based diets!
