Knoxville News Sentinel Says No to Ag-Gag Bill

Ag-gag bills are taking center stage and in Tennessee this is no different. The Tennessee ag-gag bill would "require a person who intentionally records by photograph, digital image, video or similar medium for the purpose of documenting the offense of cruelty to animals committed against livestock, within 48 hours, or by the close of business the next business day, whichever is later, to:
"(1) Report such violation to a law enforcement agency with jurisdiction over the alleged offense; and
"(2) Submit any unedited photographs, digital images or video recordings to law enforcement authorities."
However, if this ag-gag bill passes The Knoxville News Sentinel believes this bill is a violation of the First Amendment and that therefore they will not obey it, suggesting also everyone do the same.

Please visit Ag Gag bill sneers at First Amendment:
Ag-gag bills are a desperate attempt to maintain the victimization of God’s animals under a dark veil, away from consumers. However, thanks to the tireless and admirable efforts of animal advocates around the world, the conditions animals endure in factory farms and slaughterhouses are being exposed. More people every day are realizing that hurting and killing animals for food bring misery and devastation to humans at every level: physical, spiritual, social, cultural and psychological.
