Mutant Fish Due to the Factory Farming Runnoff

Mutant fish is not science fiction. Intersex smallmouth bass who show signs of disease, including open lesions and black marks on their skin have been found in the Susquehanna River in Pennsylvania. Scientists believe this mutation is likely a result of agricultural runoff and estrogenic compounds. Not surprisingly, "Pennsylvania is the nation's third largest producer of eggs. Between 2002 and 2012, total chickens in the state increased by more than one-third."

The pollution produced by these factory farms have terrible consequences most people cannot even imagine. Each of us has to contribute to the healing of Earth; and therefore, humanity needs to move away from animal agriculture or we will continue to see much suffering and devastation.
