Vegan Diet Helps Reduce Anxiety and Stress

A new study published online in Nutritional Neuroscience indicates that vegan and vegetarian diets may reduce stress and anxiety levels. The study comprised 620 vegans, vegetarians and omnivores who were surveyed about mood. The results showed that an increased fruit and vegetable intake resulted in lower anxiety and stress scores.
