Citation: On this date at 0730 hrs. while doing 01B01 I observe pealing paint & holes on walls and ceilings in kill floor above the small room. Then in the skinning room at hand sink the wall needs paints. No products were affected at this time. I informed Mrs. [redacted] of what I founded above she will have all cleaned and painted as soon as possible. The non-complies above as violation of Regulation Requirement 416.14 "Each official est. shall routinely evaluate the effectiveness of the SSOP and the procedures therein in preventing direct contamination or adulteration of product(s) and shall revise both as necessary to keep them effective and current with respect to changes in facilities. & 416.15(b)."Each official ext. shall take appropriate corrective action when either the ext. or FSIS determines that the ext. SSOPOR or the procedures specified therein, or the implementation or maintenance of the Sanitation SOP may have failed to prevent direct contamination or adulteration of products(s). and the SSOP page 4 (F) " [redacted] dated 1/27/97 by Mr. [redacted] This document serves as written notification that failure to comply with regulatory requirements can result in additional regulatory or administrative action as indicated in 9CFR 500 Rules of Practice section 500.4.

Regulation:

416.14 Each official establishment shall routinely evaluate the effectiveness of the Sanitation SOPís and the procedures therein in preventing direct contamination or adulteration of product(s) and shall revise both as necessary to keep them effective and current with respect to changes in facilities, equipment, utensils, operations, or personnel.

416.15(a) Each official establishment shall take appropriate corrective action(s) when either the establishment or FSIS determines that the establishmentís Sanitation SOPís or the procedures specified therein, or the implementation or maintenance of the Sanitation SOPís, may have failed to prevent direct contamination or adulteration of product(s).
