Citation: While performing an unscheduled 06D01 on 8/30/ 2010. The following was observed, in the inedible room and the knocking pen area there are cob webs along the perimeter of the ceiling in both rooms. The door frame between the lunch room and the area next to the phone is rusty, with large holes eaten into the metal. the table used to hold the knife sharpener and plant's paper work, the frame work is rusty. These are not food contact surfaces, but still need to be maintained per the Establishment's SSOP. Past Similar NRs - Previous Ineffective Plant Actions: maintaining plant NR: 9-2010 dated 8/5/2010


416.2(b)(2) Walls, floors, and ceilings within establishments must be built of durable materials impervious to moisture and be cleaned and sanitized as necessary to prevent adulteration of product or the creation of insanitary conditions.
