Citation: On 4/8/11, at approximately 08:10 am, while performing PBIS unscheduled task code 06D01, I observed the following non-compliance . The lower half, outside surface, of the boning room door, is both rusted and/or is deteriorated. After a review of the establishments PIP #3, dated 8/24/2010, plant identified this deficiency, with a completion date of 4/1/2011. As of today, 4/8/2011, no work has been done to this door. This is a non-product contact zone. Mr. was notified both verbally and in writing with this NR. This is in violation of 9CFR 416.1


416.1 Each official establishment must be operated and maintained in a manner sufficient to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and to ensure that product is not adulterated.

416.2(b)(1) Establishment buildings, including their structures, rooms, and compartments must be of sound construction, be kept in good repair, and be of sufficient size to allow for processing, handling, and storage of product in a manner that does not result in product adulteration or the creation of insanitary conditions.
