Violation: 416.13(c), 416.4(b)

Citation: At approximately 0830, while performing a scheduled 01C02 procedure, Dr. and I, (Dr. found a conveyer table in the packing area to have streaks of a black unidentified substance along the length of the belt which was in running. No product had reached the area at the time of our observation. I immediately placed a US reject tag B32679979 on the table and notified of the noncompliance. The conveyer was recleaned and sanitized. I reinspected the conveyer and released it to use in production. The establishment is in noncompliance with 416.13 (c) which states "each official establishment shall monitor the daily implementation and of the procedures in the Sanitation SOP's," and 416.4(b) which states " all nonfood contact surfaces of facilities, equipment, and utensils used in the operation of the establishment must be cleaned and sanitized as frequently as necessary to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and the adulteration of product."

Regulation:

416.13(c) Each official establishment shall monitor daily the implementation of the procedures in the Sanitation SOP’s.

416.4(b) Non-food-contact surfaces of facilities, equipment, and utensils used in the operation of the establishment must be cleaned and sanitized as frequently as necessary to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and the adulteration of product.
