Violation: 416.1, 416.2(e)(3), 416.2(e)(4)

Citation: While walking through the Plant this morning approxitamly 05:15 hours , entering the weigh price cooler I observed there was a drain backed up , and dirty water all over the floor. The water covered an area of the floor about a foot to a foot and a half wide, and approxitamly eight inches deep.. At this time I notified , a Supervisor in the area ,and placed a USDA REJECT TAG NO.B4017837 on the cooler, She called maintance to unclog the drain, and someone from production to wash, and sanitize the cooler. There was no product involved. I reinspected the cooler at around 06:35, and removed my tag releasing the area to production. This is a violation of 9CFR416.1,9CFR416>2(e)(3) and 9CFR416.2e(4) and failure to meet regulatory requirements could result in further administrative action as directed in 9CFR part 500 . The plant has received both verbal and written notice of these noncompliance's.

Regulation:

416.1 Each official establishment must be operated and maintained in a manner sufficient to prevent the creation of insanitary conditions and to ensure that product is not adulterated.

416.2(e)(3) Prevent adulteration of product, water supplies, equipment, and utensils and prevent the creation of insanitary conditions throughout the establishment;

416.2(e)(4) Provide adequate floor drainage in all areas where floors are subject to flooding-type cleaning or where normal operations release or discharge water or other liquid waste on the floor;
